Click photo for - " Anita Wilson Sensei Article " - - - women in AIkido. - Anita is very proud and honoured to have been graded by Jei Nakazono 6th dan - the second son of the legendary Budo Master Mutsuro `Masahilo`Nakazono Sensei [ 1918 - 1994 ] Sensei was the first Japanese teacher from Hombu Dojo to be invited to the UK in 1960 by Kenshiro Abbe Sensei. - Nakazono Sensei was one of Henry Ellis's teachers from 1960 to 1967.- Ellis sensei was uke to both Nakazono Sensei and Noro Sensei in the Aikido demonstration at the BJC National Judo Championships at the ` Royal Albert Hall ` London 1963.

The book covers the history of the inception of Aikido to the UK by Kenshiro Abbe Sensei. its further development by the early pioneers. This book covers so much more than that ! This book is about Aikido the martial art, there is no references to harmonising with the planets or Ki magic. A book for the martial artist.

Henry Ellis - born in Concrete Cottages in 1936. Co-author of 7 published books. My journey from Concrete to the Royal Albert Hall - Crystal Palace - Television - BBC World Radio, London Japanese Embassy, International magazine articles, I had so many incredible achievements, I would always say to my self "not bad for a kid from Concrete".
